Names & scores
A first-party device cookie reconnects you to games and stores your Solo stats. Competitive games ask for a display nickname before play and automatically publish eligible, verified finishes under that name. Solo scores and official Daily Word/Weekly challenge scores are public; Table results stay off the boards. Room nicknames are visible to other players. Staff can moderate names and close rooms.
Element Defense checks new runs on the server as you play and automatically posts finished runs under your saved game nickname. If you do not have a nickname yet, choose one after your first defense. The all-time board ranks the top 100 verified finishes. Each finished game is a separate entry, so one player can hold multiple spots. Interrupted uploads stay on this device and retry when you return to the game and reconnect.
Eleven Ball records each eligible finished Solo or Weekly run under your chosen nickname. One player can hold several places; earlier rules have separate board history. Its Learn and Practice tables run locally without a nickname and do not send moves or scores to the game service. They use separate deals and do not use a Weekly attempt. Practice progress ends when you leave or reload the page. Eleven Ball no longer offers live rooms.
Rooms & PINs
Room browsers show available public rooms and, in games that support listing them, locked rooms. Locked rooms require a PIN stored as a hash. Other players cannot see your pending dice, open tiles, or private bet slips. Race results become visible as the race is shown. Trivia answer choices stay hidden until the reveal; during the question, only the number of locked answers is shared. Yard Work shares match scores and pitch progress. Bar Beasts keeps team selection and pending moves private. Blackjack player cards are visible at the table; the dealer’s hidden card and undealt shoe remain private. Rooms have inactivity limits. Trivia, Race Night, Blackjack and Close the Tab remove closed rooms after seven days as games are used. Yard Work removes rooms inactive for seven days; reconnect is available within its 15-minute inactivity window.
Last Call Lights lists public lobbies only; locked rooms need a shared code and PIN. Live players see the current light sequence and round results, never future lights or another player’s unfinished input. Its rooms expire after 15 inactive minutes, and records older than one day are removed as the room browser is used. Solo high scores are retained; live matches do not publish leaderboard scores.
Play bankroll
Race Night and Blackjack use fictional play money only. There are no purchases, prizes, deposits or cashouts. Your choices and results are saved to resume your game and calculate its leaderboard finish.
Saved games
Solo and challenge completed results are retained for stats and leaderboards. Last Word keeps official attempts and guesses to support Daily resume, personal statistics and streaks; its official puzzle closes at the next 2 AM Chicago reset. Resume limits vary by game; leaving or closing a game does not grant another official Daily or Weekly attempt. Expired temporary games may be cleaned up, while completed competitive results are kept. Bar Beasts battles are temporary and expire after inactivity; they have no public score board. Browser storage remembers your current game, shared Westown Games nickname, your bet slip, sound preference, and whether you have read the rules. Clearing cookies loses your device history and reconnect access.
Eleven Ball remembers your ranked game ID, one submitted move awaiting confirmation, and your contrast preference in browser storage. An interrupted move retries with the same details when you reconnect or return to the game. Extra quick selections waiting behind it are kept only while the page stays open. Clearing browser storage removes this local recovery information; it does not remove scores already saved on the server.
Last Word refreshes daily at 2 AM Chicago. Trivia, Marble Run, Eleven Ball, Blackjack, Close the Tab and Race Night refresh their official challenges on Monday at 2 AM Chicago. Regular arcade, Solo and Quick Play high scores are All Time; an official Weekly challenge allows one attempt per nickname and device. Past daily results are retained separately from the new weekly challenges.
